The Chairmen in each of the eight counties are asking for the services of volunteers in their communities to help secure correct addresses of the mobile population and later are asking for volunteer assistance in preparing the letters for mailing to approximately 24% of the population. Welcomed by John T. Trumbull, a member of the Executive Committee, the workshop was conducted by Mrs. Gladys L. Harris, Executive Director. Those attending included Mr. J. Curtis Fray of Fredericks County; Mesdames Margaret G. Cocker ill,Katherine Trail, Caroline Hatcher and Margaret W. Blackwell of Loudoun; Mrs. Jason Paige of Fauquier, Mrs.Robert Dunn for the Woodstock Women’s Club of Shenandoah County; Mrs. Anna LaVelle of Clarke and Mesdames Leslie Fox Keyser, Carl Parrish and Charles T. Sowers of Warren. Mrs. Christine Eastham, P rogram Association and Mrs. Grace Kelly of the office Staff were in attendance.
