Prizes awarded at the Friday night festivities are as follows*. 30-30 Winchester rifle to Wilson Fincham; country ham, Archie Simmons of Remington; electric iron, Tom McGovern of Front Royal; electric grill, Homer Kearns of Winchester; electric razor, Robert McLean of Amissville. Saturday night was brought to a climax with the awarding of the grand prize, a 1963 Plymouth which was given to Maxwell Willis of Culpeper. Cash prizes were awarded to the following; $75.00 to James Ludwick of Winchester; $50.00 to A.H. Rudacille, Front Royal; $25.00 to Edgar Butler of Culpeper. President H. S. Barksdale, Chief Emory Russell and the members of the Flint Hill Vol. Fire Department wish to thank all who attended, worked and contributed for the success of this year’s carnival.
