•***•••*** B. J. Wood reports locating several lots of hogs in the county feeding raw garbage. This is a very dangerous and unlawful practice. For the protection of our livestock, markets, and so you may not be caught unaware the following excerpt from the Code of Federal regulation pertaining to this practice is offered! *there is reason to believe raw garbage is one of the primary media through which the contagion of hog cholera, swine erysipelas, trichinosis, tuberculosis or other contagious, infectious, or communicable diseases of swine is disseminated, and that one or more of such diseases exists in each State.
