Mrs. Catherine Brown was a guest last week of her sonin-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Edward Payne in Arlington. Mrs. Brown also visited other members of her family in that area.
Mr. and Mrs. John D.Ashby and Mrs. Annie Weadon of Marshall were guests on Wednesday afternoon of W. M. Rector. Frank Coffey spent several days last week with his grand-parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers and attended the Carnival at Flint Hill. Jane and Vickie White of Arlington are guests this week of their grand-mother Mrs. Catherine Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown, Jr. and family who spent last week with Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown returned to their home in Staunton on Friday. Week-end visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Brown at Rock Villa were their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown and sons of Hamilton. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bolyard and son Glenn were supper guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor. The Aylor’s son Buddy Aylor of Arlington was a week-end guest.
