Tuesday and by Saturday was up in a wheel chair and is improving. Mr. and Mrs. George Lyon and four children of Brentwood, N. Y. arrived Saturday for a two weeks vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Brice Biggers and also her brother and sister-inlaw, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Powers and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Brice Biggers returned home Thursday after spending several days with Mrs. Bigger’s sister, Mrs. Evelyn Holloway of Washington, D. C. Mrs. Holloway returned home recently after a two months stay in a Washington, D. C. hospital. Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Dennis Jr. and children on vacation from Winter Park, Fla. spent the week-end visiting relatives in Philadelphia, Pa. Mrs. Dennis and daughter remained in Philadelphia and Mr. Dennis and two sons returned to his father’s home in Slate Mills. On Tuesday the Rev. Dennis accompanied them to Skyline Drive and to Shenandoah. Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Gaines were in Charlottesville Sunday evening visiting Paul Haring of Orange and Stoney Kilby of Slate Mills who are patients in the University Hospital. Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jenkins were Mr. and Mrs. Gid Jenkins, Joyce and Mrs. Fred Jenkins.
