Final payments have been made totaling $15,619.33 under the 1963 Feed Grain Program and $4,954.07 under the 1963 Wheat Stabilization Program in Rappahannock County.
To date Rappahannockfarmers have bought 14,000 bushels of corn through the Livestock Feed Program. Farmers with land In the Conservation Reserve are reminded that October 31, 1963 is the dead-line to graze diverted acres under this program, if they applied for this privilege.
The Wool and Unshorn Lamb Program ends December 31, 1963, and the sales slips should be turned In by this date at the ASC county office.
Missionary Group Hears Travelers Report
The Sue Slaughter Group of the ’W.M.S, met Ft Way night at the Reynolds Memorial Bap tlst Church in Sperryville. Mrs. Cletus Clark had charge of the program for Mission Study and presented Mrs. Ira C. Hopkins of Culpeper who reviewed the bool for mission classes “Mandelbaum Gate" by H. L. Eddleman. Mrs. Hopkins,who herself has just returned from z trip to the Holy Lands^showec slides and presented the subject in a most pleasing manner Classes were also held separately for the Y. W. A., G, A. and Sunbeam groups.
