Gangster Jake C., owned by C. C. Clark of Woodville won 2nd High General Average, All Age Stake, in the Virginia State Fox Hunters Field Trials held last week in Culpeper and Rappahannock counties. Recognized by local foxhunt - ers as an outstanding foxhound it is a matter of pride that he has established himself further by winning the honor in competition with the best hounds from all over Virginia as well as hounds from Maryland. This was his first field trial. “Gangster” comes by his ability honestly through good breeding. His sire, Magic Mark L., by the famous Texas hound Magic Marks, has sired numerous winners previously in the Virginia State as well as in North Carolina trials. He is out of Al-Mar Anne, she by U. S.
