Three brothers and six sisters, a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

Wesley N. Peyton of Amissville died Saturday, October 26, 1963, at his home at the age of 73. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Bertha Lean Peyton. Also by two daughters, Mrs. Emma Norton of Warrenton and Mrs. Katherine Barber of Amissville; three sisters, Mrs. Lula Turner of Delaplane, Mrs. Susie Quisbury of Flint Hill and Mrs. Lizzie Carter of Wilmington, Del. A funeral service was held Tuesday at the Mount Moriah Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Lawrence Ford, with interment in the family cemetery.
