Overnight guests on Wednesday of Elder and Mrs. J. Harvey Daily were Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Claggetts of Columbus, Ohio. Mrs. Jean Brown Jones and children of Hampton spent the week-end with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown. Miss Dana Snead was a guest Sunday of Miss Susan Schaefer. Miss Mary Jane Morris of Charlottesville was a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs.P. Lee Thornton. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Shade and family of Charlottesville spent the week-end with her parents Mr. and Mrs. D.M. Dwyer. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Dwyer, Mr. and Mrs. Shade, Mrs. Ruby Dwyer and children were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thompson for picnic lunch at Rocky Hollow. About 60 guests were present. Miss Shirley Brown and Miss Carolyn Brown of Washington, D.C. spent the week-end at their home in town. Miss Judy Hawkins who has a position in Arlington was a week-end guest of her parents Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schaefer and family and Mrs. J. B. Johnson were in Charlottesville Saturday evening to visit Mr. Johrison at the U. of Virginia Hopital. Mr. Johnson has responded to treatment and expects to return home shortly. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shenk of Luray were guests on Friday evening of Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Varner. Elder and Mrs. J. Harvey Daily, in Luray for his regular appointment at the Primitive Baptist Church spent Saturday night with Mr. and Mrs. Cromr well Moyer and were dinner guests on Sunday of Clarence Moyer and sister.
