Divided We Fall .

That is only the last half Of the saying, which has today proved to be more true than we care to admit,. The complete challenge reads; UNITED WE STAND. DIVIDED WE FALL. In some areas of life, we have come face to face with the cold hard undeniable facts, that we must work together, we must strive to see one another’s point of view, we must hear one another’s opinion, we must talk about it, or else we divide, and fight, and destroy ourselves. There won’t be any winner. Last Week was United Nations week, and marked the anniversary of recognizing this truth. The world celebrated this event, where an organization was established to give peace a transfusion, to provide a voice for both the large and the small nations so that they can work together for the betterment of all peoples. But not really all people in these United States celebrated it. Some of the citizens openly oppose our participation in the U.N. They don t want to change their emphasis on nationalism. They don’t see fit to give up old ways for new ones for the good of all. They don’t want to UNITE, they want to DIVIDE.
