The world has long since passed the horse and buggy stage of travel, what was current last week is obsolete today. Scientists are continuously experimenting with new discoveries to advance man’s knowledge of know-how.
Without education, man is without the tool of the know-how to proceed. Therefore, all children of school age should be compelled to attend Bchool. If necessary a special school where his or her talent or skills could be explored, and that the law-making body be empowered to enforce such action.
SCHOOL TEACHERS PAY
Man employs the most modern means to accomplish his task with less time consumed. To do this he purchases the best equipment available. We, too, find ourselves in the same position with reference to teachers pay. To attract good instructors if we wish to have them remain, the pay must be made attractive.
AGRICULTURE
Agriculture is America’s basic industry. Food doesnot grow in cement or asphalt, animals cannot feed on bricks and cement, they must have the wide open spaces from which to feed. Grain of various kinds must be grown or other foods produced to meet such needs. Therefore, a more direct look at the farm and what comes from it should not be minimized.
TAXES
Industry will create employment by such, taxes will not eat at the heart of every individual trying to earn a meager livelihood on his own. •
CONCLUSION
