The object of thla suit is to declare the said Octavious Hopkins Patterson deceased due to her absence for a period of more than seven years.

And an affidavit having been made and filed that the Defendants Octavious Hopkins Patterson is not a resident of the State of Virginia, It is ordered that Octavious Hopkins Patterson do appear within ten days after due publication hereof, and do what may be necessary to protect her interest In this suit. And it it further ordered that a copy hereof be published once a week for four successive weeks in the Rappahannock Newt a news* paper published in the Town of Washington, Virginia, that a copy be posted at the front door of the Courthouse of this County on or before the llth day of March, 1961, and that the Clerk mail a copy hereof to each of the said defendants to the post-office address given in the affidavit herein, and Hie a certificate of the fact in the paper* of this ehse.
