While nobody ever hopes to have illness in the family, it is wise to be prepared... especially with knowledge about the importance of cleaning a sick room properly after a patient recovers from an infectious malady. At last spring seems to be peeping over the hill and we can begin to say good-by to the illness that have bothered us this winter. When a member of the family has a contagious disease, the chances of its spreading can be reduced by isolating the patient in a separate room, by observing scrupulous cleanliness procedures..especially thorough handwashing..and by meticulously sudsing and airing the sickroom and all its contents once the “victim" has recovered.
