Mrs. George Haymaker and Randolph Grubbs of Front Royal. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell visited Mrs. Warren Frank, Mrs. D. B. Burton, Mrs. John Wood and Miss Virginia Chapman in Lurdy recently. * Miss Prances Wood will arrive Saturday from her school in Staunton to spend the week end with her mother Mrs. F. Downing Wood and family. ; ’ Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Racer were week-end guests of Mrs William Curtis in Clinton, Md to be near their daughter Mrs Reid Beidler who is a surgical patient at Doctor’s Hospital in Washington, D. C. Mrs. Beidler is reported to be recovering satisfactorily. Miss Annie Miller Almond returned to her teaching position in Herndon on Sunday after spending the week-end at her home here. She was accompanied by Mrs. C. C. Cock erill, also of He r ndon, who spent the week-end with her daughter Mrs. Sarah Latham in Amissville. c
