Culpeper Hospital In Fourth Year
Culpeper Memorial Hospital marked its fourth anniversary Tuesday. The Auxiliary to the hospital presented each patient with a rose, a miniature carnation for each visitor and a lollypop for each child. The first day of operation, the hospital received seven adult and children patients and three babies. This past week the hospital averaged 32 adult
and children patients and 6 babies per day. Since its opening on'March 24, 1960, the hospital has had 5,514 patients, has treated 4,684 Emergency Room cases and has been the scene of 2,388 Surgical operations. There have been 1,137 babies born at the hospital. The hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals in the United States. Comprising the local staff
