Front Royal on Saturday to attend funeral services for Mr. Charles H. White were Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller, Mrs. C. F. Glaenzer, Mrs. Lewis Turner, W. Arthur Miller, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones and Miss Segar Jones. Mrs. C. G. Reid and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller visited Mrs. Reid’s mother Mrs. J. S. Bradley Saturday in Luray. Judge and Mrs. T. C. Lea Jr. and Dr. and Mrs. John Peyton Snead, IV of Sperryville returned home Sunday evening after a week’s skiing vacation in Stowe, Vermont. On Saturday they called on Mrs. J. S. Willis and family at Latham, New York. Mrs. Willis’ mother Mrs. W. A. Miller also arrived there on Saturday for a week’s visit. Miss Carolyn Gates Turner of Richmond spent the weekend at her home with her mother Mrs. L. J. Turner. Miss Harriet Goode spent the week-end visiting relatives and friends in Richmond.

Miss Annie Cooksey was a luncheon guest Friday of her aunt Mrs. Bertha Mason in Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Scudere left M o nd a y for a stay of several days in Clarksburg, W. Va.
