DICKEY LATHAM OF VIEWTOWN holds the 14»/2-pdund ground hog which he shot last week on their farm. This is the largest one he has ever seen, and he has seen many, for already this year he has killed 129. The animal measured 11Vi inches across the stomach and 28 inches from tip of its nose to end of its tail. He uses a 222 magnum. In a recent issue of Virginia Wildlife there was a report of a 15y2 pound ground hog killed in Clark County which had the same measurements as this one.
