Miss Mildred Earle Many, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Earl Many of Ivy Hill, Sperryville, was married Saturday afternoon, August 14, to Mr. William Henry Mautz, III, son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Mautz of Bethesda, Maryland. The double ring ceremony was preformed at Saint John’s Episcopal Church, Chevy Chase, Maryland, by the Reverend Charles H. Gill, Jr., before an altar adorned with white gladioli and glowing candles. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a floor length creamy rayon peau gown, designed with a fitted bodice, portrait neckline, short sleeves, and sheath skirt sheltered in a flowing overskirt. Her elbow length veil was attached to a cascade of white carnations.
