Student to Norway
One of the passengers in the American Field Service group which sailed for foreigndestinations recently was Bruce D. Patterson, grandson of the Bradley Pattersons of Woodville. Bruce, aged 17, had been a student at the Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda when he applied for acceptance in this student exchange program. He was assigned to Norway and has already reach ed the home of his foreign -'family*, located in the .Glomma ' River Valley in the ■northern part of the country. ;Bruce has been studying the ^language in preparation for i attending the 'gymnas* or "high school that serves this -area. He will be abroad until rJuly of next year.
