Dr. and Mrs. C. J. Stuart of Petersburg spent the weekend at their home on Blue Ridge Avenue. Miss Barbara Lane left Friday for New York enroute to her home in Sale, England after a visit of several weeks with Miss Mary Miller Wood. Miss Wood, Miss Lane and Mrs. H. B. Wood, Jr. were Wednesday night dinner guests of Miss Annie Miller Almond. Mrs. L. J. Turner anddaugh ter Miss Carolyn Gates Turner returned home Wednesday of last week from Fairbanks Alaska where they were the guests of Dr. and Mrs. L. J. Turner and family. Miss Dana Snead has returned home after attending sumer session at Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg.
Trooper and Mrs. W. A. Bunt in and daughter Miss Nancy Buntin returned Sunday from a three weeks vacation spent with members of Mrs. Buntin’s family at Martha’s Vineyard, Mass. B. R. Cox and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. visited Mr. Cox's sister Mrs. Edna Eaton Sunday in Harrisonburg. Mrs. Cox accompanied them to Staunton after spending several days at her home. Miss Kay Johnston has returned to the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. T. Mor gan Johnston after attending the summer session at Madi son College in Harrisonburg. Mrs. P. W. Scudere left Thursday for Florida where she will visit Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Blades in Nokomis. She Wa^accompanied by Miss Gwen Hbckman of New York and ’ Mrs. Jack Yates whose home is in Coco Beach, Fla. Miss Becky Jones has completed the summer course at Longwood College and is at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones. The Rev. and Mrs. Charles F.
