Miss Mattie Rector Sgt. Ellis M. Jenkins of Mississippi left last Tuesday after a few days visit with his mother Mrs. Virginia Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. Buster Hitt. Mrs. Simon Jenkins of Fairfax is spending a few days with her mother Mrs. Margaret Butler. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Butler and family of Arlington were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Butler. Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Wood, Jr. were in Amelia on Sunday where they visited Mrs. Wood’s parents Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Blanton. John Quaintance has returned to his home in Arling ton and Johnny and Carroll Lee Quaintance have returned to New York after visiting the H. B. Woods. Mrs. J. H. Johnson is spending a few days with her daughter Mrs. F. B. Dailey in Culpeper.
Mrs. Katie B. Coates of Lakeland, Florida who is with relatives in Culpeper spent the weekend with Mr, and Mrs. C. B. Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Johnson were in Virginia Beach for the weekend. Their son Billy returned home with them after visiting his sister Mrs. Philip Ungar. Miss Virginia Johnson has returned to her home in Arlington after a visit with the Misses Lillie and Nellie John son.
Dr. and Mrs. J. H. Johnson and Joanne and Tommy Johnson of Lakeland, Fla. who arcvisiting Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson spent the weekend in New York and attended the World’s Fair.
Harold Brown of Winchester is visiting R. L. Brown.
