Washington PTA Sponsors Bake Sale

Republican Dinner Scheduled April 21
The Rappahannock Republicans will hold a Dinner Meeting, Thursday, April 21 at the Amissville Fire Hall at 7 p. m. At this time delegates will be chosen to attend the District Convention at Charlottes ville June 18 and officers will be elected for the local organization for the coming year. Plan to attend this important meeting.
Wood ville Hosts Sue Slaughter Group Meet
Miss Anne Dwyer, a Baptist Medical Missionary, will be the speaker at the meeting of the Sue Slaughter Group on Thursday, April 21 at Woodville Baptist Church. The meet ing will open at 7 p. m. Miss Dwyer, who has spent a number of years in the near east, is spending a furlough with her family at Sperryville. She returned here in February from Jordan where she was superintendent of nurses in a hospital established by the Southern Baptist Convention.
