Betty Russell of Alexandria, cousin of the bridegroom, was flower girl. Her dress was made like- the other attendants and she carried a basket of rose petals. David Bowen Hyatt of Roanoke, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer. Edwin Eastham III of Front Royal acted as best man and groomsmen were Harry Russell of Alexandria, Williarr Russell of Warrenton, both uncles of the bridegroom, Patterson Biggs and Charles Ryan of Lovettsville, Marvin Bradford, Flint Hill and Louis Bowen Athey, Richmond. For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Glascock chose a dress of rose crepe and lace with matching accessories and a corsage of white cymbidium orchids. Mrs. Russell wore a jacketed dress of green silk with pink accessories. Her corsade was a white cymbidium orchid. A reception was held in the George Washington Hotel.' '
