Wanted - - Boys
All boys who are interested in Cub Scouting and are within the ages of 8 through 10 1/2 years are Invited to join the already existing Cub Scout Pack #123 sponsored by Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington, Va. Cyb Scouts precede the Boy Scouts of America, and is designed for younger boys who desire to get the complete program of Scoiitlng. Skills, games, skits, proper use of the uniform, getting to know other boys, songs, tales, and many other things of interest are taught in the program. Every month there will be something new to learn. This is the time of year to renew the spirit of scouting and for reorganizing exist#' ing units wit h new boys an< new ideas. Such reorganization will be undertaken at a meeting to be held at the Washington Baptist Church on September 30, 1966 at 7 p. m. (Note change of meeting place for the Parish Hall i6 in use with flower arranging). Round up boys in your neighborhood talk aboyt the program, build up interest and come to this meeting. It is necessary for one or both parents to attend with the youngsters. In the making already, is a big fun activity planned, and the help of all boys of Cub Scout age is needed for the success of this Fall Roundup program.
