For each committee, three regular members and two alternates will be elected. The chairman, vice chairman, and third regular member of the elected A SC community committee will also serve as delegates to the county convention to be held October 21, I960 in the county office. The alternate committeemen will also serve as alternate delegates to the convention. Delegates to the convention will elect farmers to fill vacancies on the ASC county committee and they will also determine which of the regular county committeemen will serve as chairman and vice chairman for the coming year. Questions on eligibility to vote and hold office, or on the election procedure will be determined by the ASC county committee subject to appeal to the ASC State Committee.

Amissville Fire Company answered an alarm to a chimney fire at the home of Albert Compton at Laurel Mills Tuesday. Amissville Rescue Squad transported Mrs. Margaret Corder from Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton to her home Thursday. Friday Mrs. Will Tharp was taken from her home to Fauquier Hospital. Mrs. L. B. Stuart was taken from her home to Fauquier Hospital on Monday, and on Tuesday Herbert Lehman was taken from his home to Fauquier Hospital. Castleton Rescue Squad took Mrs. Lizzie Romine to Culpeper Hospital on Sunday. Tuesday the Castleton Fire Department responded to a chimney fire at Albert Comptons.
Sperryville Fire Department answered a call Tuesday morning on Route 522 where Joseph Durdens automobile was pn fire. The Rappahannock Rescue Squad took Jack Freeman to University of Virginia Hospital on Saturday.
