Mrs. Claude Gaines has returned home after visiting her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. LutherHallandfamily in Silver Spring, Md. and visiting her brother Aldridge Hitt in Providence Hospital in Washington, D. C. Mrs. O. B. Smith and son of Etlan were Friday dinner guests of her brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Olney Kennedy. Mr. and Mrs. Waver Kennedy and Mr. and Mrs. Olney Kennedy were Wednesday visitors of Mrs. Andrew Sisk of Sperry ville. Mr. and Mrs. Brice Biggers plan to be in Bethesda, Md. on Sunday to attend the birthday celebration in honor of their grandchildren Patricia Herman and Danny Sabine. Jimmy and Joe Knief have returned home after spending their vacation with their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. George W. Tidier. Mrs. Tidier returned to Silver Spring, Md. with them and remained for a week’s visit with her sonsin-law and daughters Mr. and Mrs. Sol Schneider of Silver Spring and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Scott of Arlington. On September 6 Mrs. Tidier attended the wedding of her grandson William Perkins to Dianna Cook of Alexandria which took place at theAnacostia Naval Chapel. Miss Jerry A lien of Bayonne, N. J. was a recent guest foi several days of Mr. and Mrs. George Tidier, Mr. and Mrs. William Perkins spent the week-end of September 17 with the Tidlers and their Sunday guest was Mrs. Tidler’s sister Mrs. Julia Carver of Culpeper.
Mr. and Mrs. Russell Settle are expecting as guests next week-fend Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Stafford whom they knew when they lived in Alaska, and who now make their home in Yellville, Arkansas. They
