Miss Mattie Rector

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Butlez and family of McLean and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Butler and family of Alexandria were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Butler. A visitor of the Butlers Thursday was Dr. J. J. Casey of Culpeper. W. A. Dulaney and Miss Muriel Dulaney were in Arlington Saturday and visited Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Dulaney. The Rev. and Mrs.- B. G. Titchenell, Bobby and Sue Titchenell attended revival services at the Chester Gap Baptist Mission last Friday evening. The Woodville Home Demonstration Club was represented at the County Executive Board meeting on Tuesday by Mrs. Amos Butler and Mrs. C. B. Titchenell. The Woodville Baptist W.M. S. observed the day of Prayer for State Missions last Thursday evening at the church with the following members present: Mrs. James Falls, Mrs. Raymond Johnson, Mrs. H. B. Wood, Mrs. Clifton Clark, Miss Mattie Rector, Mrs. B. G. Titchenell and Miss Misty Hitt. The intermediate G.A.'s observed the day of Prayer on September 22 with Beth O’Ban non, Martha Lou O’Bannon, Betty Lou Atkins, Janet Payne and the leader Mrs. James Falls in attendance. A Baptismal Service was conducted at the Thorn tor River on Sunday, Sept. 25 by the Rev. G. Gayle Titchenell. Baptized were Jean and Janet Payne, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Payne of Woodville.

Mr. and Mrs. Hostman Frazier and four sons of Fredericksburg were Monday, Sept. 12, supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier and daughter Marie. Their guests Thursday of that week were Mrs. Joe Horton, Mrs. Marshall Burke and Mrs. W. C. Johnson and sons Robert and Charles of Woodville. Elder and Mrs. Donald Barnes of Stanaford, W, Va. were guests Tuesday through Thursday of last week of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier while conducting revival services at Five Forks Regular Baptist Church. On Sunday Elder Mack Morgan of Centerville, pastor of the church, and Elder and Mrs. Barnes were dinner guests of the Fraziers. Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hutson were Mr. Hutson’s mother Mrs. Fanny Hutson and his brother-inlaw and sister Mr. and Mrs. Newell Stewart of Clarksburg, W. Va. Also another sister Mrs. Irene Chipps of Wirton, W. Va. and a niece and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Bale Shaffer and daughter Debbie of Delaware. Sunday guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Thornhill were Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Knight and daughter of Baltimore, Mr. and Mrs. Mead Jenkins of Remington, Miss Peggy Burke of Silver Spring, Md., Mrs. William Morian of Washington, D. C. and Ronnie Burke of Boston. Mrs. Janies Glover of Washington, D. C. is spending this week with the Thornhills.
