Orientation Meeting
The 1967 County Committee Orientation Meeting was held in Luray Decetqher 7, 1966. Leading farmer? from nineteen counties in this area in Virginia met with State officials of the Agricultural Stabilization and conservation Service (ASCS) to review farm action programs they administer, and to map plans for the year ahead. H. S. Barksdale, Chairman; D. D. Miller, Vice Chairman; R. E. Wood, Regular Member; and Jame6 W. Coates, County Office Manager, attended from Rappahannock County. The occasion was to orient new committeemen, who took office November 1, and to discuss with all committeemen the multiple ASCS operations for which they are responsible in the 1967 program year.
