Contest Announced
The Christmas Home Light*' ing and Decorating Contest an* nually sponsored by the Tow% Council in Washington will be judged this year on Christ* mas Eve between 6 p. m. and 10 p. m. The object of the contest is to promote interest in making the town more at* tractive during the- holiday, season and to focus attention' on safety and fire preven* tion. Town residents and water users are eligible and those with lighting will be considered in the judging on Christmas Eye. Council member Bertha Armel is again in charge of having the Town Christmas Tree lighted which is in the lot between the bank and the fire hall.
