Modified Life offers stable premium rates lower than those for any other permanent plan of VA insurance. For example, the Ordinary Life rate at age 40' in the "V” program for $10,000 of insurance is $251 annually. The Modified Life rate at the same age in this program is $125.50. The basic reason for the new Modified Life policy is to provide a plan of insurance which has a lower premium than Ordinary Life, thereby making it financially easier for a term policy holder to convert to level premium permanent type insurance.
