The annual meeting of officers and members of Rappahannock Farmers Coopers tive, Sperryville, was held Friday evening at Panorama. Prior to the business meeting a steak dinner was served to the more than 100 people attending. Culpeper Coopera - tive president, W. H. Hurt, welcomed the group. J. Newbill Miller of Washington, a director of the Rap pahannock Cooperative, was master of ceremonies for the meeting. A report of business for the Rappahannock store for 1966 was presented by P. Lee Thorn* ton, manager, who stated that the volume of business increased $54,531 over 1965. Total volume of business for 1966 was $430,112,93 as compared to $375,581.65 for 1965k James Cornett of Culpeper, general manager of the Culpeper business and its branch, es which include Rappahanjnock, Warrenton and Rentington, reported that sales for the four establishments for 1966 amounted to $3,832,421.64, Total for the previous year was $3,467,641.41.
