The Flint Hill Homemakers Club met with Mrs. Barbara Gentry February 21 with the following present: Mrs. Will Putnam, Mrs. Moffett Pullen, Mrs. Mary Cleverly, Miss Diane Brown, Mrs. Carson Lillard, Mrs. Shirley Pullen. Miss Brown gave the demonstration on shrubbery for landscaping. The Methodist WSCS met with Mrs. Barbara Gentry on Thursday, February 23 with the following present: Mrs. Edward Pruitt, Mrs. Emory Russell, Mrs. Carson Lillard, Mrs. Ida Trump, Mrs. Paul Miller. Mrs. Gentry conducted the study on the Book of James. Mrs. Robert Renalds, Charlestown, West Virginia was an overnight guest of the Paul Millers Friday Night. Saturday, Paul L. Miller, Jr. joined them for a week-end trip to Madison Heights to visit Mr. and Mrs. Carl Howell and family. The Rev. and Mrs. Ray Williams were Sunday dinner guests of Miss Mary Miller Wood at her home near Washington.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Huff were visitors Sunday of M r . rluff’s aunt Mrs. Mary Payne at Marshall. Miss Dorothy Moore and Vliss Charlotte Moore of Vienna spent the week-end at the homes of their parents Mr. and Mrs. Louis Moore and Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Moore Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Pullen were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lillard and son Leroy of Front Royal and VIrs. Bobbie Hawkins and laughter Connie of Arlington.
