Program Announced
Diversion payments will be offered farmers with base acres of 25 or less and to farmers with bases of 26 to 125 acres who plant no feed grains. There will be no diversion payments to farmers with bases over 25 acres and who are growing feed grains. Farmers that participate in the program and plant corn will earn price support payments on the smaller of 50% of the feed grain base or plant ed acres. To be eligible to participate in the feed grain program you are required to sign up in the program by March 17, 1967.
