The junior race is not as well filled as desired but post entries are allowed and should enlarge this field. The ladies race, the Double Gate Turf, 'also has light entries though more are anticipated. The feature race, The Ben Venue, has eight entries which will cover a stiff threemile course over rolling terrain and includes at least 14 jumps. Points accumulated in this race count in determining the best owner-rider horse combination of the 1967 Virginia Point-to-Point circuit. which is concluded early in May. The trophy for this race is the Seven Corners Shopping Center bowl. The Mount Marshall for gen tlemen is over a three-mile course of natural terrain. This is a challenge trophy and must be won three times for permanent possession. The challenge trophy was retired last year by Dr. J. M. Rodgers of Hamilton, so this year's running is the first leg of a new trophy given by the Rappahannock Hunt. A replica is given for a one-time winner.
