The race [course at the J. W. Fletcher farm on Route 522 two miles south of Sperryville was in excellent condition at presstime and the weather forecast to date is good. This combination should make it a great day at the races. The subscribing member list nears the 200 mark and landowners and other spectators should make a record attendance. The first race which begins at 12:30 p.m. is the Pair Race and already has eight pair entered.
