Acontroversial aspect of the ordinances is the elimination of house trailers except in prescribed trailer parks. Resident Engineer James Skeens reported that the Board of Road Viewers had favorableconsidered the road to the proposed dump near Sperryville. A right of way will be needed before this can be added to the secondary system. The Board approved an annual expenditure of $24 forthe storing of deed book microfilm, and also approved payment of $141.78 for a new deed and bond book. It was noted that land appraisal was required every six years and that next year this must be done. Leases for dumps located at Amissville arid at Sperryyille were approved and are ready for signing. This brings the solution to an acute problem a bit closer. It is anticipated that the Amissville dump may be in operation in the near future. Work! on the road to the dump at Sperryville will be required before it can be opened to the public. Three hospital bills for indigent patients were approved for payment as were current county operating bills.
