He is survived by his wife Mrs. Bertha Armel, at home a son, Beverly Armel o Luray; three step-sons Everett, William and' Haroli Estes, Washington, Va. and ; step-daughter, Mrs. Eloisi Terry of Hampton; foui sisters, Mrs. Ella Sloat ant Mrs. Nellie Groves of Arlington, Mrs. Ada Mellott and Mrs Valley Brown, both Alexandra a brother, Jack Armel of College Park, Md.; 2 grandchildren and 9 step-grandchildren.*
