Trout Streams Open Sat
A total of 283,795 trout will be released in Virginia trout streams during May. Streams are closed for five days while restocking is in progress. In Rappahannock the restocking is taking place this week and the streams will reopen Saturday the 13th. Anglers may begin fishing one hour before sun rise on the day thp streams reopen.
kins I.eake of Sperryville operating a 62 Ford was making a left turn from Route 211 onto Route 651. She was struck by Robert .Junior Simons of Alexandria in a 66 Chevrolet pickup who attempted to pass the I.eake car. when Simons applied the brakes, he skidded and struck the rear of the Leake car with the rear of his vehicle. Damage was estimated at $200 to the car and $150 to the tru.k. Simons was charged with failing to yield the right of way.
