Letter To Editor

Dear Editor,

Do you agree that sometimes people of our generation fail to recognize or to understand the fine, sensitive, and creative side to our teen-agers’ personalities? It has been my joy as a teacher to catch glimpses of “inner beauty” in young people through work they hand in to me. Maybe some of your readers would enjoy them, too, so I am inclosing a sampling of poems you might wish sometime to print. I have many others just as fine, but some are probably too long.

I am proud of the students and think they deserve a bit of recognition.

Spring la a Wonderful Season Spring sings a refreshing refrain Babbling brooks are fed by the rain Meadows grow increasingly green And add so much to the joyous scene Flowers bud and burst into bloom Silvery shadows are cast by the moon Spring is the best time of the year To be wonderfully happy and full of

cheer.
