Flint Hill News

Mrs. Joel T. Jenkins accompanied by Mrs. Frank Cary and the Misses Jennifer and Penelope Hopkins of Wood stock, were shoppers in Washington, D. C. Saturday. They were met for lunch at Seven Corners by Mrs. Frank Temple, Mrs. William H. Campbell and Mrs. Russell Turner of Washington, all sis ters of Mrs. Jenkins. Mr. and Mrs. Wilber Smith of Baltimore were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Pullen at Caledonia. Guests for the day on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Banasiki of Washington, D. C. Robert Nethers entered the University of Virginia Hosniral on Friday where he is a surgical patient.

Mrs. Ray Williams and infant son Albert Scott returned home Saturday from the War^ ren Memorial Hospital.

The Official Board of the Flint Hill Methodist Church met Friday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clat terbuck. Attending were the Rev. Edward Pruitt, H. S. Barksdale, Mr. and Mrs. Emory Russell, Mrs. Carson Lillard, Mrs. W. A. Gentry and Mrs. Paul Miller. Plans were made to paint the Church roof. Frank Huff spent the week
