Miss Gloria Lynn Williams of Front Royal and Douglas Wayne Bear of Arlington were married April 8, 1967 in the Flint Hill Baptist Church. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. J. Sandy Williams and the late Mr. Williams of Front Royal. Mr. Bear is the son of Decatur Charles Bear and the late Mrs. Bear, also of Front Royal. The Rev. Ray Williams performed the ceremony at three o’clock in the afternoon before an altar decorated with white floral arrangements and lighted candles. Given in marriage by her brother, James Bernard Williams, the bride wore a long gown of white satin and Venice lace. Her veil of illusion was attached to a tiara of pearls and 6he carried a prayer book topped with a white orchid. Miss Loretta Williams was maid of honor for her sister. Her long gown was of green silk and satin. She wore a matching veiled hat and carried white pompons.

Best man was Neil Coleman of .Arlington. Ushers were J. Bernard Williams and Buddy Fritts.

A reception was held in the Flint Hill fire hall.

Mr. and Mrs. Bear are making their home in /Arlington.
