Sergeant Ficklin is a fuel: specialist at Sheppard AFB, ! Tex. He is a member of the Air Training Command which conducts the educational programs necessary to provide skilled fliers and technicians for the aerospace force. The sergeant is a graduate of George Washington Carver High School, Culpeper, Va. His wife, Carylen, is the daughter of Mrs. Leslie B. Howell of De Funiak Springs, Fla.
