at 2 p.m. includes 15.3 miles of the Shenandoah’s South Fork below Bentonville. Proven ability to negotiate rough ,water will be a prerequisite |for the White Water event but 11he Endurance race is recommended for all, including novice canoeists. Awards will be made for the first three places in each of the following classes*. C-l, C-2, C-2M, K-l, K-1W and Turtles. The Turtle class includes 10-14 year olds who will race “anything except z boat” over a 1/2 mile water course. Entrants must register'well ahead of the starting time for each event. Spectators may watch the races from several vantage points.
