Retires from Highway Dept.
Mr. Locke B. Burford is retiring from the Virginia Department of Highways as of December 31. He has been acting as Maintenance Supervisor in the Fairfax and Arlington area, and has been with the Department for 41 years. Mr. and Mrs. Burford attended a banquet Friday held at the Fire Hall in Manassas in honor of Mr. Burford and two other fellow retirees.
