Luray Man Wins Rifle
The Chester Gap Fire Department announces that R. C. Buracker of Luray was award ed the 30:06 Remington automatic rifle which was given away Saturday evening at the shooting match at Chester Gap. The firemen wished Mr. Buracker good hunting and expressed appreciation to him and everyone for their contribution.
Since the opening of the hunting season, the weekly shooting matches held at Chester flap are scheduled for 7 p.m. each Saturday night instead of the afternoon. The firemen invite the public to these events. They are appreciative of the past attendance and anticipate continuing participation which makes the shooting matches most successful, according to Chief Joe Williams.
