Mrs. Charles Claenzer of Washington spoke to the group on candy making, giving point ers on equipment needed and tips for turning out a good product. She showed samples of holiday candies which she had made at home and gave out recipe sheets. Mrs. Glaenzer graciously substituted at the last minute when the scheduled speaker was unable to keep the appointment because of illness. Her appearance was appreciated. The- Amissville Club was selected as Club of the Year after submitting a splendid achievement record.
