Col. and Mrs. E. A. McNear of Vint Hill Station spent the week-end and first part of the week at their home Greenwood and had as guests their son Capt. Richard McNear of Ft. Belvoir and Maj. Gen. Dayton Eddy of the Pentagon for the opening of the hunting season. Mrs. Julia Curtis of Amissville will spend the Thanksgiving holidays with Mr. and Mrs. William A. Curtis and H. J. Racer. Mr. and Mrs. G. Raymond Jenkins and four children of Suffolk will spend Thanksgiving Day with Mrs. Jenkins' mother and sister Mrs. Alice Verner and Mrs. Virgil Updike.
