The road to the proposed dump at Sperryville still poses a problem as to right of way necessary for improvement by the Department of Highways. Commonwealth’s Attorney was asked to take propter steps to finalize negotiations for the road. Accounts were approved for payment before adjournment.
Snow, Ice Accidents Produce Broken Bones
David Nichols of Sperryville sustained a broken leg in a sledding accident Saturday. While sliding down hill he stuck out his leg to avoid hitting a tree and broke his leg near the hip joint. He was taken to the University of Virginia Hospital, ^harlottesville where he remains a patient. He is the 13 year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Maury bjfiNhols. Mrs. Charlie Comptoh of Amissville fell at her home Monday and fractured her right arm. She slipped on ice as she was enter ing her house. She was taken to Fauquier Hospital. Warrentonfor treatment. A cast was appliec^fter x-rays revealed three bRaks and she returned home.
