**********$** All Johnson grass is not infested with Maize Dwarf Mosiac (MDM), however, this disease of corn should be anticipated where Johnson grass is present in the field. Corn hybrids found resistant to MDM at the Wingina test plots and elsewhere reveal the following can be recommended for resistance to this disease: P.A.G. SX17, llotmeyer 11601R, Southern States( 866, and Pioneer 3182. Seed from other imbred lines showing great promise of resistance to M.D.M. is being increased.
