With Christmas 1967 in the past and the New Year well on its way, students returned to RCHS after an extended vacation because of snow. Now that they have returned, students really have their noses to the grind stone as exams begin next week. Mid-term examinations will be given the i 7th, 18th and 19th. Need I say1 more? ! Several basketball games were canceled due to the snowy weather. The games with Stonewall Jackson and Central will be rescheduled for a later date. The mighty Panthers will compete with the Turner Ashby Knights this Friday night on the home court Let’s all comeand support our fine team. The Science Department has a new weather station where wind speed, wind direction, barometric pressure, highand low temperatures and precipitation are recorded. Great, hey?? Attention Students — Don’t forget to keep bringing in your stamps for the stamp campaign. Think of all the food your stamps will buy for starving children overseas. Ask your friends and relatives to save them for you also. The campaign ends January 22, so let’s get out and gather those stamps. Flash....When the Fetcheros say they cruisearound Rappahannock in “the Pearl", don’t be puzzled. The Pearl is their little Volkswagen. Mysterious Person?? An eighth grade girl who had a little difficulty with a pony. It seems the pony wasn’t too friendly and gave her a toss. Her finger was sprained but she still has that “ole get up and go“. Ronald Dodson was the guy who was tracked down by Mr. Neff.
